Произошла в Аризоне 30 апреля 1871; жертвами были индейцы аривайпа [Arivaipa], которые, сдав оружие, жили у фактории в ожидании ответа США на предложение о заключении мира. Они стали объектом мести за набеги апачей [Apache] в районе г. Тусон [Tucson], когда были убиты четверо белых, угнаны лошади и скот. Расправу учинил отряд во главе с У. Аури [Oury, William S.]: погибли 144 индейца, 27 детей были проданы в рабство в Мексику
